Opinel Garden Tools Boxed Set of 3
Whether you're a smallholder or a window box botanist, the Opinel Garden Set is a tool shed in your pocket!
Opinel is a French knife maker that has been in operation since 1890. The classic N° series of pocket knives has remained almost unchanged since 1897. In 2006 Opinel was recognised in Phaidon Design Classics as one of the most successful 999 designs of all time by a panel of international designers.
Set includes the Saw N°12, Garden knife N°08 and the Pruning knife N°08. The blades are Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, and have a carbon content of at least 0.40% giving them an excellent cutting edge. The "Virobloc" double safety ring, created by Marcel Opinel in 1955, locks the blades either in open or closed position. The handles are beech, sourced from French forests, painted and varnished to protect against moisture and dirt.
Stamped with the Opinel crowned hand hallmark.
Made in France.
